If someone was brothering me and bullying me i wouldnt want to come to school either. I also think that students mgiht not be intrested in education is becuase the teachers dont make it intresteing and fun. Teachers are drilling kids with information instead of making it fun for the students. City and county officials are putting less of their funds into the school cutting education funds making the teachers pay with there own money for materials. If you want students to care I believe adults need to care.

Children don't show interest in their education for several reasons. Some kids follow by example. They may have a parent that doesn't show interest in what they do. The parent may not have a high school diploma, so the child doesn't see education as important. Other kids don't show interest in education because they do the opposite of what you expect. They just want to show I'm bad and can do whatever I want. FCCLA can help by observing the environment of a child who doesn't show interest in their education. To help that child, they can let them talk to someone who was in the same position as they are to let them know education is important. Kids nowadays just need someone to tak to. Children don't have a reliable adult they can count on now. FCCLA can be that person they can rely on.
FCCLA can go out in different communities and hold meetings and try to get it over to students that without an education they cannot have a good career.
