* This is the one purpose that directly affects the students in culinary arts classes. By attending the course and making an effort to exceed in this field I am promoting occupations dealing with family and consumer sciences. For example if I decided to follow through with my choice of this pathway, I am showing to the younger generation (and/or the grades below me) that this is a career choice worth pursuing.

Adults can abuse their power over children and young people. Adults in positions
of authority over children and young people can and do abuse their power. The
assumption that young people must not challenge their elders or express their
views, even when their rights are being violated, has increased their dangers such as economic exploitation, military recruitment and forced participation
in the sex trade. It is now well documented that many millions of children and young
people in countries around the globe are both physically and sexually abused within
their own families.

ReplyDeleteOne of the purpose of FCCLA is to helps Strengthen the function of family unit. We can invite parents FCCLA members, and/or others to a talk show that we make up. Tell them about loving each other, and to think about their children's future, if they're divorce.
